Nurse practitioners (NP) are educated and trained to provide health promotion and maintenance through the diagnosis and treatment of acute illness and chronic condition.

Sydenham House Medical Group have a number of Nurse Practioners based within the surgeries. 


Our team of highly qualified and experienced nurses are available throughout the week and offer services from pill checks to chronic disease management.

Healthcare Assistants

Healthcare assistants support practice nurses with their daily work and carry out tasks such as blood pressure measurement, taking blood. They may act as a chaperone when a patient or doctor requests one.
